Brand Strategy and Graphics Style Guidelines

Objective: JDA was selected, along with Fresh Perspectives, to design a new brand identity system for UK International (formerly UK Underwater Kinetics). This was a two phase process. In the first phase Fresh Perspectives conducted brand interviews, competitive research and developed a product naming strategy and a brand strategy. JDA focused on a visual and retail audit in the first phase and in the second phase we developed the final Brand Strategy and Graphics Style Guide.

Execution: During the research phase some very important information surfaced. We found that the name “Underwater Kinetics” was no longer relevant. Even though UK did a lot for the Dive market they also focused on the industrial, military and sporting markets.Read More
