JDA is an award-winning retail design firm specializing in branding consumer electronics and other retail products through packaging, POPs, collateral, on- and offline promotions, sales tools and web e-commerce. David began making his mark on the Los Angeles Graphic Design scene as a designer and art director before launching his first design studio, Ervin Jensen Designers, in 1986. Seven highly successful years and numerous happy clients such as Epson, Toshiba and Mattel later, with a newly focused perspective on strategic design, he created Jensen Design Associates (JDA). David's thirst for truly fresh ideas, his drive to make designs work as hard as possible, and his trademark sense of humor are at the very heart of JDA's continued success. They've also garnered many prestigious awards and attention from ICON, American Graphic Design, American Corporate Identity, and leading publications such as Print and Graphic Design USA.
With both an artist's eye and an executive's brain honed from her years as a graphic artist, art director, and successful graphics and merchandising manager, Patty brought the right talent and energy to Jensen Design Associates in 1993. Her intimate knowledge as a creative puts her in touch with how to effectively produce everything from identity programs and launch kits to videos and websites. Her work client side for such companies as Ashton-Tate and Epson America, gives her firsthand experience with more than 30 successful product launches. Of course, her passion for corporate identity and packaging complements her insightful, big- picture approach to marketing strategy as well as her uncanny attention to detail. The result? Blissfully happy clients who know that when Patty is on the job, good things always happen.
